The project aims to create a space of convergence and visibility that allows interaction between the restaurant, bar, and event venue with the urban environment of the Roma neighborhood, so that both the interior and exterior are perceived in a fluid and accessible way, so that this space becomes a showcase of artistic and social activity that nourishes and strengthens the community identity of the area.

Strategically located on a corner of Monterrey Street in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City, this restaurant, bar, and event venue is conceived as a space for visual and cultural connection with the outside world. The open facade allows passersby to observe the dynamic interior from the street, creating a constant invitation to become part of the space. Meanwhile, those inside enjoy the city as a backdrop, integrating the vibrant urban context as part of the experience.

This project is conceived as a hub for exchange and community for the artistic and cultural scene that characterizes the Roma neighborhood. By hosting events, exhibitions, and presentations, the space functions as a flexible forum that adapts to diverse cultural activities, enriching the area's cultural and artistic offerings and providing an accessible space for the expression of different disciplines.

  1. Connection and Visibility: The transparency of the facade allows for visual interaction that eliminates barriers, promoting the integration of the space with the community. This fosters a culture of inclusion and curiosity about artistic activity, generating a sense of belonging and participation for residents and visitors of the neighborhood.

  2. Revitalization of the Environment: The constant activity of the place, which includes cultural and social events, contributes to energizing the urban life of the Roma neighborhood, regenerating the public space and attracting greater participation from the local community and other areas.

  3. Boosting the Artistic Community: By becoming a showcase of talent and creativity, the project supports emerging and established local artists, generating a space for cultural exchange and strengthening the creative identity of the community.

  4. Promotion of Local Commerce and Sustainability: By promoting events and activities within an environment that celebrates the local, the project encourages conscious and local consumption, benefiting both the local economy and community cohesion.

The space's design integrates transparent materials and open structures that reinforce the concept of integration and accessibility. The façade and soaring windows not only provide light and visual appeal but also highlight the project as an urban landmark that invites community interaction. This approach contributes to community regeneration, facilitating spontaneous encounters and shared activities that strengthen the sense of community in the Roma neighborhood, where art, gastronomy, and culture become cornerstones of identity and social interaction.
