This project aims to transform an existing house in the Héroes de Padierna neighborhood of Tlalpan into a group of medical offices, creating a space that offers comfort, privacy, and a healthy environment for both patients and healthcare professionals. The facade is redesigned using wood-cement panels, integrating a ventilated facade structure that improves the building's thermal and energy efficiency, contributing to a suitable environment for medical and community use.

The renovation of this house on Héroes de Padierna Street aimed to adapt the interior spaces to the needs of a medical practice. The interior layout was reorganized to create private consultation rooms and a comfortable, accessible waiting area, maintaining the residential scale of the site and respecting the area's tranquil character. The façade was renovated to meet both aesthetic and climate comfort requirements, using a combination of natural and engineered materials. The use of wood-cement panels in a ventilated façade allows the building to maintain a warm appearance, respectful of the residential surroundings, while also improving the building's thermal efficiency.

The choice of wood-cement panels for the facade not only enhances the building's visual appeal but also provides significant thermal benefits. This ventilated facade creates an air gap between the panel and the wall, acting as a natural insulator that reduces heat gain inside. This system helps maintain a constant and comfortable temperature, which is essential for occupant comfort and reduces the need for air conditioning, thus promoting lower energy consumption.

Wood-cement composite is durable, moisture-resistant, and requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for high-traffic buildings such as a medical office complex. Furthermore, its appearance, which combines the natural texture of wood with the durability of cement, blends harmoniously with the surroundings, respecting the residential character of the neighborhood.
