The purpose of La Tiara, a 9,000 m² residential development in Puebla, is to provide high-quality living space in an environment that promotes well-being, community, and connection with nature. With a linear, train-like layout, the building organizes 180 apartments of 90 m² across four levels, with parking located in a semi-basement, maximizing the open space for gardens and recreational areas. This design allows for the integration of ample green areas that serve as communal spaces, creating an atmosphere of conviviality and relaxation for residents.
The design of La Tiara is based on a structure that concentrates the residential units in a linear fashion, freeing up a large area of land for gardens and outdoor recreation spaces. This arrangement not only ensures optimal ventilation and natural light for each apartment but also fosters connections between residents, strengthening the sense of community. The concentration scheme aims to make the gardens the heart of the building's life, where residents can socialize, relax, and experience a connection with nature amidst the urban environment of Puebla.
The project contributes regeneratively to the local environment and the well-being of its residents. By dedicating a large area to green spaces, La Tiara facilitates rainwater absorption and helps mitigate the urban heat island effect, improving the area's environmental quality. These gardens and open spaces not only promote recreational activities but also serve as meeting places and spaces for interaction, fostering a strong and collaborative community. The layout of the gardens allows residents to integrate with the local landscape, while the proximity between residential and green areas creates a connection between the natural environment and its users, strengthening the identity of the place.
The design of La Tiara, focused on maximizing recreational areas and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, integrates with the environment and becomes a model of urban regeneration, promoting a sense of community and respect for the environment.
